Saanichton Bible Fellowship ... caring, Christ-centered and committed to worship, proclamation and restoration.

We welcome you to our web home. We're glad you have found us here, and trust that this site is helpful to you. We are adding to it weekly, so if can't find what you are looking for, please contact us.

We especially welcome those of you looking at this website in December 2009. We are intentionally walking through the Advent season as a congregation the Sunday of December. Please check out our Calendar for specifics on our Advent services through Christmas Eve.

Saanichton Bible Fellowship, or SBF as our 8 syllable name often gets shortened to, is a growing church of approximately 150 in attendance any given Sunday.

While our roots and heritage are in a movement known as the Christian Brethren, we have grown and developed into a conservative evangelical community church over the years of our existence. Easter 2009 we celebrated 30 years in the Saanichton/Central Saanich area.

We are located just 20 minutes north of Victoria, BC ... so we are not quite city, and not quite country. Someone recently suggested we are rurban ... either way, we are a welcoming church family.

We celebrate a shared leadership model, and enjoy having deeply committed and involved leaders, many of them long term SBFers.

SBF is a place of diverse faith backgrounds, a broad demographic spread, with a unique multi-purpose facility that we intentionally share with many community groups.

We also look beyond our walls ... to local needs, regional opportunities, and international investments in a range of ministries.

If you are new to our area, the Saanich Peninsula, new to a faith journey, or maybe investigating the claims of Jesus Christ, we welcome you.

We would love to have you join us Sundays at 10 am.
